Verive

In 2020, Bunzl, responsible for single-use food packaging, launched a new brand; Verive, for sustainable packaging solutions in the food industry. Together with Strangelove, I designed a visually, content-driven website for them to help with reach their target audience.

The objective.

The (food) packaging industry is being forced by law to transform their packaging solutions from single-use material to sustainable, environmentally friendly alternatives.

Bunzl, an international leader in disposable packaging solutions in the food industry, launched a new company and brand to focus on sustainable solutions for the disposable packaging industry: Verive.

Together with the product development team at Strangelove Brand Experience in Amsterdam, I was responsible for creating a visual design for the content website that would give Verive an immediate strong online presence when launched at the end of 2020.

Future-proof the food packaging business

The challenge.

Verive had been given an important task; to capture the attention of the disposable food packaging industry and present them attractive, sustainable alternatives.

Strangelove had figured out how to help them and came up with a strong concept for a content-driven approach for Verive’s launch in the online realm.

The outcome.

I created a visual design that focussed very much on eye-catching visuals, strong headings, and easy-to-read text.

To help Verive with the future development of commercial and marketing online activities, I set up a basic design system / online style guide. With this system, the goal is that Verive has all the necessary information available to create new online products that remain constant and recognizable in the way they look and behave.
